Excellence in Financial Reporting

The City of Citrus Heights received an award for its submission of the FY 2014-2015 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA). This was the 14th consecutive year that the city received this award. In order to be awarded a Certificate of Achievement, a government must publish an easily readable and efficiently organized Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. This report must satisfy both generally accepted accounting principles and applicable legal requirements. A Certificate of Achievement is valid for a period of 1 year only. We believe that this report will again meet the program requirements to receive the award.
